Shop Setup

Set up your GlassQuote Pro account and configure your shop.

Creating Your Account

  1. Visit GlassQuote Pro and click "Start Free Trial"
  2. Enter your email, name, and create a password
  3. Check your email for the verification link
  4. Click the link to verify and activate your account

Shop Profile Setup

After logging in for the first time, you'll set up your shop profile:

Business Information

  • Shop Name - Your business name as it appears on quotes
  • Address - Your shop or primary business location
  • Phone Number - Main contact number
  • Email - Business email for customer communications
  • Website - Your website URL (optional)

Logo Upload

Upload your shop logo to brand your quotes and documents:

  • Recommended size: 300x100 pixels
  • Formats: PNG, JPG, or SVG
  • Maximum file size: 2MB

Tax Settings

  • Default Tax Rate - Your local sales tax rate
  • Tax on Labor - Whether labor is taxable in your state
  • Tax on Materials - Whether materials are taxable

Adding Your First User

If you're the shop owner, you automatically have Admin access. To add team members:

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click Invite User
  3. Enter their email and select a role:
    • Admin - Full access to all features
    • Manager - Access to quotes, customers, and scheduling
    • Sales - Can create and send quotes
    • Technician - Can view assigned jobs and update status

Setting Up Pricing

Before creating quotes, configure your pricing:

Labor Rates

Go to Settings > Labor Rates and add your standard rates:

  • Windshield replacement
  • Side glass replacement
  • Back glass replacement
  • Chip repair
  • ADAS calibration

Markup Rules

Set how you mark up parts in Settings > Markup Rules:

  • Flat markup ($50 per part)
  • Percentage markup (30% over cost)
  • Tiered markup (different rates by price range)

Service Items

Add common services in Settings > Services:

  • Disposal fees
  • Mobile service charge
  • After-hours premium
  • Calibration services
